One of the common causes of redness and rash and itching in multiple areas of the body, especially under breasts, in the groin, on the back as well as in the ears, could be a condition called Seborrheic Dermatitis.

What is it?
This is a condition where the skin produces excessive skin, and oils, making it more comfortable for fungi to grow on the skin. On the areas where there is an outgrowth of fungus, the skin becomes sensitive and rashes develop. The condition develops in the parts of the body that sweat the most.

How is it treated?
Treatment involves the use of topical antifungal creams and mild soaps. It is to be noted that the harsher the soap is, the more it can worsen the condition. Generally, a mild antifungal cream and soap are used in the treatment and at times, extra prescriptions are also made by the doctor if felt necessary.

Unfortunately, this condition tends to be recurrent and you might observe that it hits you more in particular times of the month. Also, Seborrheic Dermatitis is related to stress and lifestyle and hence, adopting a healthy lifestyle that involves a fair amount of exercise could be a good way to go about it.
